Rising Rajasthan: A new step towards global investment

The Government of Rajasthan has taken a major step towards realising its investment and economic development goals. A high-level delegation led by Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore met Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Dubai. The main objective of the delegation was to present investment opportunities in Rajasthan and invite investors to the 'Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit 2024.


Roadshow in UAE: An Effort in a New Direction


This investor roadshow was organized in collaboration with the Consulate General of India and FICCI. Through this roadshow held in UAE, Col. Rathore held meetings with several leading UAE companies, including companies from sectors such as logistics, real estate, financial services, and healthcare. The main objective of these meetings was to promote opportunities for trade and investment in Rajasthan and to assure investors that the state government is working hard to provide a favorable business environment.


Open invitation for investment in Rajasthan


Addressing the investors in Dubai, Colonel Rathore expressed commitment to make India the third largest economy in the world under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the goal of developing Rajasthan economically is the priority of the state government. Under this, the state government has made many policy changes and more policies will be implemented in the coming time, so that investors can do business in the state easily and at low cost.


Meetings with major companies in Dubai


During this road show organized in Dubai, Colonel Rathore met officials of major companies like Kef Holdings, DP World, Lulu Financial Holdings, Emirates NBD, Sharaf Group. Apart from this, possible investment opportunities in the state were also discussed with companies like Dubai Cable Company Private Limited (Ducab), Gulf Islamic Investments, Transworld, Tecton Engineering and Construction.


Rising Rajasthan: Global Investment Summit 2024


The 'Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit 2024 will be held in Jaipur on December 9, 10, and 11 this year. The three-day summit aims to provide domestic and international investors with investment opportunities in Rajasthan. Special sessions will be held in this summit on various sectors such as agriculture, renewable energy, education, EVs, infrastructure, and tourism.


Efforts are being made to reach out to major commercial centers across the world to participate in this summit, so that Rajasthan can be established as a major investment hub.


This initiative of the Rajasthan government is proving to be important to promote investment in the state as well as to further accelerate the economic growth of the state. Due to the clear political will and favorable business policies of the state government, the 'Rising Rajasthan' Global Investment Summit 2024 will prove to be a big platform to establish the state as a major investment destination.
