Iran says agreed new cooperation framework with UN nuclear watchdog

Iran said Tuesday it has agreed a new cooperation framework with the UN nuclear watchdog after its suspension of cooperation following June attacks by Israel and the United States.

“Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency have reached an understanding on how to engage under the new circumstances,” foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei told state television after a meeting in Cairo between Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and International Atomic Energy Agency chief Rafael Grossi.
